HEAL IT FORWARD™ is a paramedic-founded, family-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit putting Preparedness Within Reach for underserved communities. We expand access to essential first aid supplies and practical preparedness education through donated paramedic-curated first aid kits, printed guidance, and community-based training.
We partner with schools, clinics, shelters, and nonprofits to place first aid kits where they are needed most and, when appropriate, distribute them directly to families and individuals.
Inspired by the preparedness work behind MED KIT PRO™, HEAL IT FORWARD™ operates as a separate nonprofit focused on expanding access for underserved communities.

We help close the preparedness gap by delivering paramedic-curated first aid kits, practical printed guidance, and community-based training through trusted local partners.
Our approach is simple: place essential resources where they are needed most so preparedness is realistic, accessible, and actionable.
We support underserved Utah County communities facing barriers to accessing health care, including low-income households, seniors and caregivers, families with children, and people experiencing housing instability.

Partners identify where first aid kits are needed most, and through an ongoing partner-led program we distribute paramedic-curated first aid kits with printed, easy-to-follow guidance and trainings through partner organizations that serve them, and directly to families and individuals when appropriate.
As funding allows, we also support urgent needs beyond the U.S. through trusted local partners.

Every kit is a concrete step toward emergency preparedness for communities that would otherwise go without. Barahona is one example of urgent international support. Our primary focus is U.S.-based communities.

How are communities selected to receive donated kits?
We are U.S.-first, prioritizing schools, clinics, and community organizations serving communities with limited access to emergency supplies and preparedness education. When urgent needs arise, we may also support international communities through trusted local partners. Selection is based on need, partner readiness, safety, and where support can make the greatest impact.

Can I donate first aid supplies instead of money?

If you serve a community with limited access to emergency supplies or preparedness training, we’d love to connect. Can I make a monthly donation?
Yes! Monthly giving is one of the most helpful ways to support HEAL IT FORWARD™ because it allows us to plan ahead and support more communities over time.
